"Does Your Thinking Limit Your Success?"
Break Through Limited Thinking to Make
Better Choices & Produce Better Results
With Betty Jo Waxman

Betty Jo Waxman Pic

To be skilled and effective at developing others, you must address your own personal development. What you'll learn will help you do both.

Meeting Take-aways
:
  • Learn how to identify limiting perspectives
  • Receive tools to break out of those limitations with specific application to our profession
  • Gain knowledge of what it takes to make better choices
  • Find the correlation between "thoughts" and their results through a direct experience of how those thought impact actions and results

Thoughts greatly influence results. That correlation is well established. In this session, you'll learn how to see a clear picture of the perspectives, specific to each person, that are limited and limiting. Then, through an engaging process, you'll explore what it takes to break out of the limitations those perspectives create.

By getting a first-hand experience of how to recognize limiting thoughts, beliefs, and assumptions, and because of these the options that are taken off the table, and how that leads to bad decisions or missed opportunities. Participants will leave with greater awareness of what to watch for, with the ability to see more options and new possibilities, and ultimately a blueprint form making better choices that produce better outcomes in their business and personal lives.

Competency: Personal/Professional Development

About the Presenter:Betty Jo Waxman Pic

Betty Jo Waxman completed her BA in Economics at UCLA and earned her MA in Art History from Vanderbilt University. While pursuing a career in business, she discovered she had a gift for teaching and public speak- ing.  She turned this into a career path she has followed since 1981.

For 28 years Betty Jo has been helping people discover and then challenge their own thinking, so they can make better choices in their business and personal lives. We are all limited by habitual ways of seeing the world, and ourselves. We also have a natural resistance to changing how we have always done things. Betty Jo’s expertise is in helping participants in her workshops bring to the surface those blind spots that prevent people from applying information or breaking through to bigger and better personal and professional goals.

She has extensive experience leading interactive workshops on various subjects, including communication, personal presentation, team building, conflict resolution, problem solving and self-esteem. In addition to leading “Open Enrollment” workshops and corporate trainings throughout California, she also leads “Learning Intensives” around the world.
