"Fostering Agility In and Through L&D Programs"

..

What's the Challenge?

If “Information Overload” and competition are the threats, what are the opportunities?

How Do I Navigate This?

In this era of accelerating change, organizations need to be more adaptive. Optimal organizational performance used to almost ensure success, but those days are over. Today, the pressures of increasing information and competition mean that optimal execution is a given - it’s a minimum standard.

The only sustainable differentiator is agility and continual innovation! Agility stems from the ability to learn faster. In this context, formal classes (while necessary) are too slow. Informal learning is key because it is fast, and done right can be omnipresent.

So, can L&D support agility and innovation? Absolutely! The research tells us what fosters and what hinders innovation. We know that when we have the right practices and the right culture, we can get the best innovative solutions. And that is what you will learn in this session.

Topics

  • What innovation is (and is not)
  • The elements that foster innovation
  • The barriers to innovation
Why Should I Come?
By attending this session, you will leave knowing the elements, barriers, and opportunities for L&D, and play a key role in delivering a culture of innovation and agility to drive organizational success.L&D’s roles to support innovation
