"What's Your Learning Design Formula?" with Brian Washburn

During this webinar, you’ll have an opportunity to (metaphorically) put on your lab coat and goggles and experiment with some different combinations of learning elements. Based on his recently released book, What’s Your Formula: Combine Learning Elements for Impactful Training, Brian Washburn will lead a session that will introduce you to a periodic table of learning elements. After exploring the various solid, liquid, gas-like, and radioactive elements on the table, you’ll have a chance to think through how you could combine these elements under different circumstances and for different objectives.

By the end of this training segment, the participants will be able to:

• Explain the value of this book whether they’re new to the field or have been doing this for a while.
  
• Describe how various elements can be classified based on their core properties.
  
• Examine how a facilitator impacts training design.
  
• Experiment with ways to combine various elements.
