Mike spent 17 years with American City Business Journals, the nation’s largest publisher of metropolitan business journals with 40 weekly newspapers across the United States. While at ACBJ, he held a variety of key posts:
Before joining ACBJ, Mike was managing editor of the Los Angeles Business Journal. Prior to that he was news editor of the Pasadena Star-News.
Mike’s specialties include general communication skills, media consulting, writing, editing, public speaking and PowerPoint presentations training, interviewing, coaching/training, blogging, social media, marketing, public relations, website design and business strategy.
A native of upstate New York, Mike attended Arizona State University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in political science. He has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for nine years.
