Have you built a corporate university?

Even if you have, Shannon Adkins can make it easier and your efforts more effective.

What do you believe are the common business drivers and the pains that lead an organization to consider developing a corporate university?

In this presentation Shannon Adkins will answer this pressing question and address:

  1. The basics of the business case for change.
  2. Insight into how to gain critical sponsorship and alignment.
  3. The process and marketplace tools available for developing a corporate university.

Shannon will also address common obstacles and strategies for overcoming them, using a TechProse case study of large financial services institution as the framework for her discussion.

You will come away from this interactive session with an understanding of:

  • How to frame a business case for a corporate university
  • The challenges and strategies for overcoming them
  • Insights into how to build a corporate university

Presenter:  Shannon Adkins brings broad business expertise and oversight to all engagements.  While leading the Customer Excellence function for oDesk, Shannon drove the requirements gathering, evaluations, and selection process for the organization’s knowledge management tools and technology.  While leading the Developer Experience for the Intuit Developer Network, Shannon worked with the Documentation team to migrate all API documentation from PDF to embedded and contextual online help within a knowledgebase, accessible via the portal.  At TechProse, Shannon serves as the lead strategist in the development of Learning and Development portals and curriculum.
