Trainers, designers, OD pros… No matter your role, it’s a given you encounter push-back from students, SMEs, colleagues, your team and your bosses. Handling push-back and objections can be a challenge. It’s even harder when concerns are camouflaged with obtuse statements or completely hidden—Which is often the case. Come learn how to use a simple approach to:
1. Uncover the real issues
2. Defuse those issues
3. Get clarification without revealing you need it
4. Reduce the heat of conflict
5. And move on
Shawn Greene, consultative selling expert and chapter president from years back will teach us how to use the approach based on actual objections, concerns and vague push-back-comments we encounter. So think about what stumps or issues you anticipate and bring that to the Club.
